Pharmacy Data Solutions (PDS), formerly LTCPCMS, has been providing manufacturer rebate services, pharmacy adjudication and audit services, and related consulting services for more than 20 years. We have worked with 800+ facilities nationwide and helped them to save more than $100 million dollars.

More importantly, our rebate program was the first of its kind in the long-term care industry and PDS was approved to extend this program to hospitals in 2022. Our rebate program is built for clinical effectiveness and is seamless, efficient, and transparent with the highest returns available.

Founded in 2002, by Patty Crawford and Rodney Burton, and now run by CEO, Robbie Sutkay, Pharmacy Data Solutions has remained true to our original vision of helping healthcare clients better manage their pharmacy spend. Our passionate Team, based in Richmond, VA, is well-trained and committed to helping our LTC and hospital clients operate more efficiently.

Meet The Leadership Team

Robbie Sutkay

CEO

Robbie has worked in healthcare for 14+ years and has a breadth of leadership experience in the industry. Prior to joining PDS, he spent more than a decade in various roles in the medical device industry, working with hospital administrators to reduce costs while maintaining exceptional outcomes. He has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Biomedical Engineering degree from Washington University in St. Louis.

In his free time, Robbie enjoys chasing his two young daughters and small dog around the house and an occasional dinner date with his wife. He has always loved team sports, music, and a constant push to learn and grow through books, friends, and family.

John TeRonde

VP OF CLIENT SUCCESS

John TeRonde, PharmD, serves facility operators, patients, and residents in hospitals and LTC facilities across the country. A second-generation pharmacist, John learned from his father that the profession of pharmacy can improve patients’ lives, both clinically and financially.

John has spent over 20 years working in multiple areas of long-term care and senior care pharmacy. He has a diverse professional background with experience in corporate management, pharmacy consulting, and facility operations. He has worked both on the provider side and customer side of long-term care pharmacy.

John is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy, and lives in Denver, CO with his wife Katie and their daughter Julia. Together they enjoy spending time riding bicycles and hiking in the mountains with their two dogs.

Jay Wilson

VP OF SALES

Jay is a driven professional with over 10 years of experience in the sales and medical device industry. He has held various roles in engineering, sales, and leadership. Throughout his career, Jay has demonstrated a talent for building and nurturing relationships with clients, resulting in increased business and client satisfaction. He holds a master's degree from Duke University and a bachelor's degree from Clemson University, both in Biomedical Engineering.

In his personal life, Jay is a proud resident of Virginia Beach, VA where he lives with his wife, son, and golden retriever. When he's not working, Jay enjoys spending time on the beach, reading, staying active, and spending time with his family.

David Burton

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

After a decade in financial operations and investment management, David joined PDS in 2012. His diverse and intricate financial background helps our clients identify cost saving opportunities and solve a variety of complex problems.

David is proud to work for a company that strives to be on the cutting edge of an important industry and one that will go to great lengths to provide the best possible service for its clients.

He believes that PDS’s clients first mentality and “can do” culture push everyone that works here to constantly seek improvement and efficiency in ways that will benefit our customers and everyone under their care.

Jennifer Carignan

DIRECTOR OF CLIENT SUCCESS

Jennifer has been in the healthcare industry for 20 years. She has worked in primary care and hospice operations and she also implemented an EMR system for local hospitals and physician offices in/around Richmond, Virginia. Jennifer joined PDS in 2017 and leverages her decades of experience to ensure our clients' needs are met with rigor, tenacity, and enthusiasm. She is thrilled that her efforts allow hospitals and nursing facilities to spend more time caring for their patients.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys watching her daughter cheer and her son race go-karts at the local tracks in Virginia. She also enjoys vacationing on Hatteras Island with her family.

Tyler Dunlap

DIRECTOR OF ClLNICAL SERVICES

Active in the healthcare industry for over 10 years, Tyler carries a broad knowledge of pharmacy practice and clinical efficiencies. He is dedicated to helping clients identify and drive down unnecessary pharmaceutical expenditures, ensuring an opportunity for them to strengthen their focus on superior care for their patients and residents.

In his spare time, Tyler enjoys hanging out with his wife and two children, taking walks along the“backyard” trails of the James River, and listening to his record collection.  He also has an irrational fear of opossums. Seriously, he thinks they’re out to get him.

Patty Crawford

PRESIDENT

Patty has worked in several aspects of healthcare for 30+ years, and she founded LTCPCMS, now Pharmacy Data Solutions, in 2002. Over the span of her career, Patty has worked for hospitals, nursing homes, drug manufacturers, and has owned and worked in pharmacies. She also has designed several medication management software applications.

Patty takes great pride in having dedicated her professional life to helping people and patients in need.  Patty is the mother of two extraordinary daughters who also dedicate themselves to taking care of those who are experiencing life’s challenges. They, with their amazing husbands, raise Patty’s four grandchildren.

Rodney Burton

ADVISOR

Rodney graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy after completing pre-pharmacy studies at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia.  Rodney purchased his first community pharmacy 6 months out of pharmacy school in his hometown of Orange, Virginia.  He practiced there for 10 years and there he pursued his initial interest in long-term care, serving nursing homes in the local area.  Rodney continued in long-term care working for both private and public companies in senior management roles.  He joined Patty as co-owner of LTCPCMS over 18 years ago after working with her for 3 years in one of the larger public institutional LTC pharmacies.

Rodney has been married for more than 45 years to his high school sweetheart and is blessed with two boys and a girl.  Two of his children are married and have given them two grandsons and a granddaughter that complete their family.  Rodney also enjoys football, playing golf, fishing, and shooting for relaxation and fun.
